Technology

Pressurised Carbon Mast Curing Oven

We have 2 autoclave curing ovens with an internal diameter of ø1300/2000 mm and a total length of 70 metres — working at a maximum pressure of 6 bar at up to 120°C.

Our philosophy is to invest in the best materials and machinery available on the market to offer our clients the finest quality carbon masts. The construction of carbon objects in an autoclave is considered superior to other manufacturing techniques: laminates are more compact, air inclusion is minimised, and the finished product achieves maximum lightness with elevated mechanical characteristics.

Autoclave Cured

Pressure and heat curing at 6 bar / 120°C produces a laminate of maximum compactness with no voids — the same technology as the aerospace industry.

FEM Engineering

Every mast is designed and verified using Finite Element Analysis — optimising stiffness, weight, and safety margins for each yacht's sail plan.

Waterfront Location

Located directly on the quay in Genova Porto — yachts can moor alongside and mast/demast directly from our workshop.

Pre-impregnated carbon from Gurit, Deltapreg and CIT — world leaders in epoxy resin laminates — ensures the highest structural integrity.
